Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Montclair

I went here to celebrate my anniversary based on the reviews, and it did not disappoint. Upon arrival we experienced a slight problem with our reservation. Apparently our reservation did not show on their end. Nevertheless, they found a table for us and, we were quickly seated. I had the rib eye. It seemed to melt in mouth, it was so tender and well seasoned.

We arrived early and told the host we would be at the bar. The host called my phone 10 min before our reservation time, which I did not hear. At my reservation time I went to the host desk to which they said "oh! We've been calling you!" Then they sat us. Service was VERY slow. We weren't in a hurry, but everything was taking so long! We were sitting at our table for 2 hours and because so much time had passed, we decided to not get dessert for fear it would take another hour. In addition, when my baked potato came to the table, it was just above room temp. I didn't complain because it tasted great and I was afraid I might not see it again by the time I ate my steak. Usually we love the bar area, so in the future, we will likely just stay there. The bartenders are always great with service and an amazing attitude!

Lunch was just available for the holiday week. I wish they had lunch service on a regular basis

We had such a great dining experience. The service was great. The staff and waiter were very attentive, thoughtful, and helpful. The food was okay. We will definitely be back.

Very beautiful decor, the food was very good, and they had live entertainment on the night we went. It does get very loud so if you want a quiet dinner you should go in the early evening.
