We went to House of Cards for my birthday. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The food is extremely expensive but I think some of that cost is to pay for the magician. My family ordered steaks and a filet mignon. They said it was very good. I ordered the butternut squash vegetarian dish. It was good but not my favorite vegetarian dish I have ever had. A bit too salty so I did not eat it all. We had a really good bottle of Cabernet red wine. All in all I think we paid $750 for 5 people so be prepared for that. The magician was pretty good as well. We had a wonderful night overall. Every staff member we spoke to was polite and friendly. The ambiance was nice as well.

Enjoyed the Peloached Pear. Australian Wagyu was delicious and totally worth the price difference from the filet (which my daughter got so we could compare). Brussel sprouts were phenomenal. Chocolate cake isn't too sweet / rich; a good balance. Definitely want to come back to try more items. Cocktails looked great. Music was nice, and the service was great as well.

Greeted at the door by the chef, my wife and I were whisked away (cooking pun there…) to the back room of the restaurant. There we were seated and greeted by an attractive server and had our special menu explained to us. We had the choice of escargots, a brief interlude of boeuf bourguignon, and I had the steak frites while my wife enjoyed the confit of duck. We were finished off with a traditional cheese plate with a variety of cheeses from around Europe. All the food items were fabulous and the wine pairings were perfect! I will complain that the portions were oversized for me. We were nearly full from the escargots, and the boeuf was a full dinner portion in itself. The ribeye steak was as the chef explains it “what Americans expect”. I can’t fault him for giving his customers what they want, although I personally would prefer a more authentic experience with a smaller skirt or flank steak and about half the amount of fries. To summarize: go there. Eat. You will not regret a thing!
