Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Green Brook Township

Certainly a hidden gem! We spent an incredible Christmas Eve dinner at Chez Catherine. The food was spectacular and the maître made great suggestions. The risotto was superb. We are definitely coming back soon!

The carbonara is my favorite pasta on the menu it did not disappoint. Had a chicken special which was also good. Regrettably it was really hot upstairs, and they don’t seem to be able to do anything about that. And I mean 79 degrees if the thermostat is to be believed. On a 20 degree night. Seems it is all one zone heat/AC.

As usual, the food was amazing and service impeccable. Bruno, Leo and Eddie run a great restaurant where you always feel special. Service is with a smile and top notch. Our #1 go to spot.

We reserved Dolce Bene for this years Company Holiday Party. Our guest list grew to almost 70 people and we wanted to find a location which can accommodate a group of this size while providing a more intimate private setting. We discussed our desire with Bene and he was willing to open the restaurant on a Monday (typically closed) and allow us to use the main dining area. We were also able to offer limited dining options (fish, meat or vegetarian with appetizers), allowing us to go into the event with a budget. What a wonderful experience. Dolce Bene provided a full staff to provide the highest level of service, we used the bar area for drinks and later deserts, and the food was amazing as usual. Wanted to say thanks to the entire team at Dolce Bene for a great night by all!

Red Lobster South Plainfield, NJ is a good choice! We ordered two very good meals, the Seafarer's Feast and the Mariner's Feast (both in the $30.00 price range.) One platter was Fried Shrimp, grilled Maine Lobster tail, Garlic Shrimp, and a skewer of 4 fantastic scallops. The other was Fried Shrimp, the skewer of scallops, and Salmon topped with Langostino sauce. Each came with a choice of two sides and the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Our choices were garden salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was very good! Our waiter was new but very concerned about doing a good job; he checked with us several times, and I also heard him asking another customer if his cocktail had come out the way he requested. That customer was also very satisfied and joked with the server. Another server who recognized us (I was surprised by that), came over just to ask how our grandchildren were doing because she remembered their photos from a previous visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only real drawback to most of the Red Lobster chain is the somewhat dated decor. I can live with that.
