Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Marrero

Food was excellent! We got the Parker Bread (MUST), Mardi Gras Shrimp (so yummy!), Surf and Turf Roll, Filet, Ribeye, Seafood Mac and Cheese (wouldn’t get again), Broccolini (wouldn’t get again), and PB&J Bread Pudding. We heard the garlic mashed potatoes are amazing so we would try those as a side next time! It is definitely a great experience you don’t want to miss out on! Some of the best steaks we have had out and the bread and butter is something I’ll be talking about forever!

Outstanding service and likely the best meal I've eaten all year. I had the pork chop and my wife had the gulf fish. We also shared a side of fried Brussels spouts and a cup of gumbo. The main dishes had amazing accompaniments that paired together deliciously. The gumbo was smooth and rich and the Brussels sprouts had a miso honey drizzle that put them over the top. You really can't go wrong with anything you order here. Definitely gonna make this a regular stop when we visit NOLA again.

Having been to the former Bon Ton Cafe, my wife and I were excited about trying the new! We were totally blown away! Atmosphere was warm and very comfortable. Service was outstanding AND, food was Delicious! Needless to say, it was a Great birthday celebration for my wife. She could have been happier. We will definitely return to try more menu items we salivated over but did not sample.

We dined at August nine years ago, and the food was so memorable we returned. The bar was set so high the first time, we didn’t think it would be possible to exceed it. Ann Marie, Felicia and the ladies delivering the food from the kitchen were quite the team. My husband and I are still reveling in our experience. Every course on the Réveillon Menu was a journey in taste and got better as we headed for dessert. I ate my first pumpkin dish and raw oyster. Kudos to the chef. The food was outstanding. My husband really enjoyed the spoon bread. My favorite was the pan-seared pompano. We will continue to make dining at August a priority every time we return to New Orleans.
