Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Central Business District

We moved to New Orleans over 6 years ago, one of the draws was the vast possibilities for dining out. Although we will probably never exhaust our list of places to try we return again and again to GW Fins. It’s been #1 on our list for years now because they consistently deliver the best dining experience on every level, first and foremost the quality of the food and service. Last night was another perfect meal from appetizer to dessert, and Marlon was delightful. Much praise and many thanks go to Gary Wollerman and Chef Michael Nelson.

We were a party of four, and we enjoyed our dinner at Mr. B’s. Rah was our server, and he took great care of us. For appetizers we enjoyed the Truffle fries and the fried oysters. Delicious! For entrees, we had the Filet, Gumbo yaya, Wedge salad, and Shrimp & Grits. All was Wonderful for dessert. We shared the Pecan pie and the Crème Brûlée. Would definitely dine again.

Atmosphere, food, presentation and service....all executed impeccably!!! Our first time celebrating and won't be our last time. We absolutely love August!!! Thank you for making our celebration so special!!

1st class food and service. Our best meal in new Orleans over the 4 days I was here. Service great and food outstanding. I would go back the next time I am in town.

Food was great and service was fine. Gratuity was already included on the bill (party of 3) and the waitress failed to tell us, so we left a 20% tip on top of the 18% already incorporated into the bill.
