The sea bass tempura was a beauty. The king crab California roll was fresh and tasty. I would go there again and devour them all. We were waited on by Roman and he was so kind and helpful. He pushed for us to get sushi even tho they said it wasn’t available. I’d ask for him again simply bc of that alone. He checked on us often so we never felt abandoned and all of our request was met. The manger came by and jokes with us and even told us his zodiac sign (a Leo) it was a perfect time. My two girlfriends and I had a splendid dinner experience and are already planning another visit.More infoLevel Restaurant & BarPrice: Very Expensive• European• Sheepshead Bay•4.2
- DDiana VitaVIPNew York City •142 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLovely ambiance, delicious food and excellent service. The stuffed zucchini flowers appetizer was so fresh, the pasta with pomodoro sauce was perfectly prepared and the pistachio cheesecake was light and memorable. And the waiter, Pat, turned an excellent dining experience into an exceptional one. His stellar level of service and fantastic personality made such an impression on everyone dining. What a wonderful asset Pat is to this restaurant. Thank you.More infoPonte VecchioPrice: Expensive• Italian• Bay Ridge•4.7
- RRickVIPNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI took two colleagues to Café Mars for a business dinner. The comfortable booth salons with the sensitive and attentive service allowed us to talk freely. The drinks and food were off-the-charts fabulous. They made the business discussions that much more fun and productive. We started with 3 “snacks” … pizza slice anchovies, antipasto bomb and inside-out Chicago beef. All three were flavorful, amazingly creative and wonderfully presented. These bites complimented the cocktails, including the deeply flavored Giardiniera martini. Indeed, since the Giardiniera is a key ingredient in the Chicago beef snack, the match was downright perfect! The chefs and bartenders sure work well together. Our three pastas were equally inspired, including the lemony curls, the Genoa tuna waves, and the more traditional Brooklyn Sunday gravy … but with triangle-shaped penne and meat cubes, instead of balls! A modern pivot! We finished with the deconstructed Philly pork sandwich. The flavors were right out of the Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia, but the careful execution and beautiful presentation made them pop! It couldn’t have been a better dinner!
