Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Hewlett

Christmas Eve was a bit hectic but everything was very good. Stuffed pork chop on the specials menu was sensational, and the blackened shrimp were perfect. The portions were very generous. My only advice would be to turn down the music abit since it was hard to have conversations with my table mates.

It was our first time there today. The ambiance was perfect and so beautiful. You expect to see this type of holiday decor in the city only. The food was delicious. I had the best lobster soup ever! My husband enjoyed the surf and turf. It was was tasty and juicy. Ended the evening with delicious cappuccinos and shared warmed brownies and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I can’t believe it took us years to come here. Will be back for NYE!

I always enjoy coming to Dunns River. The music is good, the food is amazing and it’s the only sit down Caribbean experience that is top tier compared to the normal hole in the wall establishments with the plex glass separating the customers. Home run for date night. My only wish is that the music isn’t so loud all the time. It’s so hard to have a conversation. I stayed away from Friday & Saturday and picked a weekday date night thinking it would be a quieter background noise kind of night. Nope. We were still shouting at each other. After our meal we ending up walking around in the rain so we could hear each other lol. Something to consider for management maybe.

Everyone here is so incredibly friendly. Great atmosphere. Wonderful food. A favorite for many years and they never disappoint
