We offer gluten-free contemporary Pacific Northwest cuisine with Northern Mediterraneaninfluences - think Spanish, French, Italian, Greek & Turkish, diverse & healthy options, courtesy of Chef Ton Yazici & Sous Chef Ben Jones. We specialize in wine, cider and spirit flights. In addition to our 50+ ciders, beer & full bar, we serve local Washington wines as well as a selection of Mediterranean ones, curated by local winemaker Rich Burton of Locus Wines.Main dining room is all ages with 75 seats. Downstairs bar/event space holds 150 people - 21+only for regular hours. Please note that food service stops 45 minutes prior to posted closing times.     Had a date here on New Year’s Day and we were both super hungry so we ordered as soon as we were seated. Our food was out within 5 minute and it was great! Very nice to have a bowl of Parmesan left on the table as well.

    My favorite foodie hangout. Great small plates plus delicious mains. The owner, Hallie, is a champagne aficionado, so the bubbly is sublime yet affordable. Hard to find that in this town. Plus great decor and an attentive, friendly, even jovial crew, with bartenders who live to create. And we never feel rushed to gobble up and leave. A perfect Capitol Hill haunt.

    A Magical Birthday at A Stir We celebrated a birthday at A Stir with a group of 10, including friends with dietary restrictions like Celiac, dairy and alcohol allergies, vegan, and vegetarian diets. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and our server made our large group feel like an intimate table. Everyone loved their food and beverages—no one felt left out. The flavors, quality, and care were outstanding, creating a truly magical experience for our guest of honor. The atmosphere added to the magic, creating the perfect backdrop for our celebration. It truly felt like a special occasion, and our guest of honor couldn’t stop raving about how perfect everything was. A Stir is a must-visit for anyone looking for impeccable food, outstanding service, and an inclusive dining experience. We can’t wait to return!
