- SSerenaEssex •1 review5.0Dined 6 days agoWe were a table of 18 dining to celebrate a birthday. Without asking we were offered the private dining room upstairs and having ordered in advance all the adult meals everything just ran so smoothly. From the moment we were greeted at the door we were made to feel welcome, valued and comfortable. The service was brilliant and relaxed in a great way with 6 children to cater for too. Nothing was too much trouble and the birthday sundae wowed us all! Thank you Nicole and all the team. You did a wonderful job.More infoBill's Restaurant & Bar - ColchesterPrice: Moderate• British• Colchester•4.6
- FFrancesLondon •14 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024Duck pate was delicious, turkey was great, good selection of veg, and the creme brulee very tasty. Come early as car park gets very busy. Staff were fantastic, nothing too much trouble and nice with it. Not my first visit and won't be my last either!More infoThe Old Siege House Bar & BrasseriePrice: Expensive• European• Colchester•4.6
- EMEmmaMEssex •1 review5.0Dined on 3 Jan 2020Had a fantastic meal! The vegan mushroom gnocchi was amazing - I’m not even vegan and it was yummy! Couldn’t tell it was vegan and all food being gluten free is fantastic as you don’t have to decide from a restricted menu what you want. It was so nice to be able to choose what I wanted off a great menu. Prices were reasonable for the food and the staff and their service was excellent. My only criticism, and I’m being really, really picky here, is that if I’m paying £30 for a bottle of wine (Sauvignon Blanc) then it would be nicer to drink it out of a nicer glass - they were a bit ‘Ikea’ ish - the rest of the crockery and glasses were fine and really well presented, it was just the glasses that was a slight let down (and I love a good wine glass!). Would absolutely go back!More infoNiche Gluten-free DiningPrice: Moderate• Contemporary European• Angel•4.4
