- JJARISLEIDYNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had an amazing experience at 618. If I were to define it I would simply say… impeccable service! Elvin was extensively knowledgeable with all drinks, food and deserts. He knew exactly when to approach us for refills and when it was time for our next course. I like how attentive the staff was on clearing the tables and how we were greeted entering the restaurant and as we left. Now to the good part, the FOOD! Everything was exquisite. I would definitely recommend the meatballs as the small plate (appetizer) very savory and tender. We also had the short rib raviolis it was delicious as well but the meatballs were hard to beat. We had the skirt steak as one of the entrees and WOW that first bite was mouthwatering, perfectly cooked, crunchy yet tender and flavorful (you have to eat it with the sauces they provide on the side). We also had the halibut, it was so beautiful plated with the sweet potato pure and rice but it was a tad dry for my liking however the pure did help with that. The drinks were also beautiful presented, not too sweet and not watery if you know what I mean. For the desert we got the Chunky Monkey Brownie Sunday, surprisingly the banana ice cream was the perfect combo! Overall this is a place I would highly recommend to all of my friends and family.More info618Price: Moderate• American• Freehold•4.9
- SShailNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoAwesome food & presentation. We went there last year for Valentines too. It’s simply exceptional. Service & management this time was a bit chaotic. We were on time for our 800 pm reservation but could get seated only at 8:30 pm. Delicious 8 course meal but it started for us at 9:15 and then subsequent courses got delayed. We finished dinner by 11:30 pm…wayyyy too late than expected Last year (2024) things moved much more smoothly. If you have time and in no rush then this place is worth it. Bit pricey but then you don’t go out for a fancy dinner every day 🙂More infoAarzu Modern Indian BistroPrice: Expensive• Indian• Freehold•4.8
- GGlennNew York City •3 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe made a reservation and we’re seated right away. We were seated in the enclosed patio which was nice and warm by the fire pit. Our server told us their system was down so all orders were old school written down. It didn’t seem to affect service that much. The food was good with big portions. Out server was great, friendly and attentive. The only downside is the noise level, especially with one person who was so loud and obnoxious. Even with that it was a nice Valentines dinner.More infoTre - FreeholdPrice: Moderate• Italian• Freehold•4.6
- JJasonNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoFantastic meal all around. Roman gnocchi is always a must, the artichoke appetizer was delicious as well. The pizzas and pasta speak for themselves and are some of the best in NJ. The pistachio tiramisu was a great finish to an amazing meal. When my wife and I are celebrating special occasions, we always find ourselves at La Lupa. Keep up the great work.More infoLa LupaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Manalapan•4.8
