We were early, seated quickly and with preferences accounted for. We had scoped six dishes in advance and opted out of one when a waygu Big Mac was offered - a most try! Server knew the menu, understood her role to guide discovery and make sure we had a great meal - 10/10 recommend! Had scallops which were amazing, different than other preparations, and truly stood out. Brussels were his favorite, and were flavorful with a maple item underneath that made it work! Risotto, alcapurrias, and mussels with lobster (only ok) rounded it out with donut dessert. Really really solid and different. Chef Chris came by to say hello - you should too, truly worthy of reputation and ranking!More infoBrassica KitchenPrice: Expensive• French American• Jamaica Plain•4.8

Some dishes such as the raw tuna & avocado salad and house pickles were excellent while others, such as the overdone swordfish, were lackluster. Didn’t have dessert. Probably wouldn’t go back but it was an enjoyable evening.More infoElephant Walk South EndPrice: Expensive• Cambodian• South End•4.8
- JJaneLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined on 1 Jan 2025I’m from NYC, and I can honestly say this is the best restaurant I’ve ever been to in Boston. I still can’t believe how lucky I was to stumble upon this place and start the new year with such an incredible meal. Every single dish blew me away. We started with the arancini, Caesar salad, Sicilian mussels, and Maplebrook burrata. The focaccia was amazing too—it’s not a must since the starters already come with an assortment of breads, but if you pair it with the burrata, trust me, it’s worth it. We were so caught up in how good everything tasted that we practically forgot to breathe. Every bite was pure magic. For the main dishes, we had lasagna, bucatini, gnocchi, and shrimp carbonara. The shrimp carbonara? Absolute perfection. I can’t stop thinking about it—it was hands down my favorite. Also, don’t forget to get their tiramisu. I’m still thinking about that one. On top of the incredible food, the service was so warm and attentive, which just made the whole experience even more special. I left feeling so grateful and honestly moved. This place is something truly special.More infoMIDA - South EndPrice: Moderate• Italian• South End•4.7
