The filet mignon was super tender and tasty Great service

The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and good humoured. The service was just right - neither rushed nor with any long waits, from first being sat to delivery of the check. The tuna tartare was so good! The blending of flavours was interesting and no one component took over. The hanger steak and frites was a plentiful and tasty combination. And, the slice of Marjolaine, 24-layered cake, was just the right size, not too sweet and with a good melding of all the flavours. Next time I am in Montreal, I will return!

The tomato soup with arugula pistou was fabulous. The 9e burger with carmelized onions was very good, and perfectly cooked -- although the charred outside of the burger did not appeal. The service (Destiny) was outstanding! What a treat!

Wonderful evening at Ayla with exceptional service. The waiter arranged a special tasting menu allowing us to try several of their popular dishes. The ambiance was great. Highly recommend.
