Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Ashton-Under-Lyne

One of the best meals out I’ve had in ages. Blacklock might be my new favourite Manchester restaurant. I loved everything about it - low key, unpretentious but such high-quality. Friendly staff, efficient service. It’s really excellent.

The best and most authentic Thai food I have had in a long time. Perfect pre theatre dinner and drinks. We ordered the mixed starter for two, Pad Thai, Massaman Curry and sticky rice and it was all reasonably priced. Drinks were a little expensive but the quality of the food makes up for this.

The food was good, but not as good as we had hoped.

We booked in as staying in the hotel, we booked for 5.30pm We was sat down efficiently. Waitress and waiter was very helpful with how the menu worked and let us know if there was anything unavailable. Drinks arrived quickly. We ordered some small plates too share, mac and cheese croquet, fish goujons and sticky ribs they where amazing. All freshly prepared. Then for mains we ordered the pork belly noodles, burger, steak and fish and chips again all incredible. Chef came out to speak to us to make sure food was all good, this was great as we was out with parents so they really liked this touch to the service. Had a chat about our evening as we was watching peter kay. Couldn't fault the service or staff and we all really enjoyed the food. We would highley recommend.
