- DDamianGloucestershire/Wiltshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe’ve had one of the most memorable evenings at the Swan. Firstly, we were a little bit apprehensive of booking to the monthly quiz, due to our overall low IQ average but when we turned up - we were made feel immediately at home. The food came out in minutes and our demanding children were super happy. Jerry was an entertainer as a host and the quiz itself was super interesting. Edwin who runs the pub looked after us super well! all in all an amazing experience - thank you THYME!!!! I wish we knew all the answers…OUCH Bottom line / I have never been made feel so stupid and at the same time so happy to pay the bill, which was a humble amount for what a pub meal is these days. Coming back ASAP!!!!!! Quality 10/10More infoThe Swan at SouthropPrice: Expensive• British• Lechlade•4.5
- AAnitaSurrey •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe have had a fantastic experience. The pub/restaurant is set within an old building which added to the ambience. The food was wonderful. We were made to feel very special having told them we were celebrating our wedding anniversary when we booked. Go hungry!More infoThe White Hart at FyfieldPrice: Expensive• British• Fyfield•4.7
- CHCarolineHOxford/Oxfordshire •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe enjoyed some sharing small plates; hi-light being the curry wurst! Absolutely delicious, especially with the wonderful German larger. My dish of sea bass with red curry broth was delightful; perfectly cooked fish with a beautiful spicy aromatic sauce; really tasty!More infoThe Plough at HanneyPrice: Moderate• British• Wantage•4.8

- AAnonBedfordshire •25 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Jun 2024The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.More infoThe Lamb at BucklandPrice: Expensive• British• Buckland Marsh•4.3
