Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Stanford in the Vale

We have had a fantastic experience. The pub/restaurant is set within an old building which added to the ambience. The food was wonderful. We were made to feel very special having told them we were celebrating our wedding anniversary when we booked. Go hungry!

We enjoyed some sharing small plates; hi-light being the curry wurst! Absolutely delicious, especially with the wonderful German larger. My dish of sea bass with red curry broth was delightful; perfectly cooked fish with a beautiful spicy aromatic sauce; really tasty!

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The place was very clean.

The food was amazing; we all had different dishes (mains and desserts) and were very impressed with the taste, quality of ingredients and the presentation. We got complimentary bread and butter at the start, which was a nice touch. The venue has character and is a charming old building. Our server was brilliant, especially considering her very young age - she was friendly, polite and knowledgeable about the menu. The village of Buckland is beautiful - we went for a walk after lunch. I would highly recommend making a visit here.
