Best Gluten Free Restaurants in Palm Desert

This was our first time at this restaurant as we were visiting from Minnesota. We had an excellent experience at Wildest - from booking on line (a glitch with the on line booking - I booked a specific time, and was contacted by Michael at the restaurant that the time I chose was a actually booked already and offered an earlier time which we confirmed worked for us) to our wonderful server Paige, and the excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers of grilled artichoke and ricotta stuffed squash blossoms, along with our main entrees of grass fed lamb chops and seared duck breast, both were perfectly cooked with very tasty accompaniments and sauces! The Calirosa hibiscus margarita was probably the best margarita I’ve ever had! Our server Paige, was delightful! She was very attentive and took great care of us, as well as other guests around us. The additional staff/servers were also very pleasant 😊 We will definitely visit the Wildest again on our next visit to Palm Desert!

A terrific Valentines's day menu with many French cuisine options along with a variety of food choices. The service (Jose) was 5-star and he food, the presentation and the timeliness of service were stellar. We had a wonderful table in the main dining area that enhanced an already-wonderful experience. Delicious and perfectly prepared dishes. Highly recommended!

How good is the food? We ate there Monday and again Friday (Valentine's Day) We have eaten here several times and have enjoyed different dishes each time and thought each of them was wonderful. This last visit, our server, Jan, recognized us and expressed her pleasure at our return. Moreover, when she brought the desserts we had ordered, she also treated us to an amazing chocolate mousse as a thank-you for returning so soon. Do yourselves a favor and dine at Mimmo's

Loved the restaurant, the food and the service. Prices, especially given the fact it was Valentine's Day, were very reasonable. They kept to the original menu with a few added specials which was refreshing. Most places go to a restricted menu with elevated prices. My only negative comment concern how they do or don't inform diners of certain prices. Server asks if you'd like bread & butter. Your response is "Sure" because it's complimentary but not here. It's a $5.00 up charge. Reasonable, yes, but totally unexpected. All menu items are reasonable priced and well prepared. They have a nice wine list, heavy on French wines (figures) but at very competitive prices. All in all I'd say this is a dining delight that we'll come back to again and again all the while remembering there's no free breand and butter.

This is a charming restaurant that you must try. Great food, amazing wait staff and the ambiance is beyond amazing.
