- JJeffLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoInnovative and creative, chef Jason Peel fuses Japanese and American comfort food using local fresh ingredients. We had the.prix fix lunch menu which changes monthly. His use of flavorings highlights every dish. The portions were very generous, definitely a great value for the fixed price. It’s always a pleasure seeing Chef working and interacting with his customers. You can tell he loves what he does. Not our first time and definitely won’t be our last.More infoNami KazePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Kalihi-Palama•4.7
- JJonetteSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDespite reading bad reviews, I made a reservation anyway as this has been on my list of speakeasy’s to go to. Yours Truly did not disappoint. They were complete opposite of the bad reviews. Service was amazing from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Everything was explained in detail which made us feel comfortable and confident. Few selections for food but it was definitely good food. The drinks were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a cute speakeasy experience.More infoYours TrulyPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Downtown•4.4
- CClaudineVIPHawaii •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe booked a last minute Valentine’s dinner so got a 4:30 reservation. It was early so not very crowded and at that time there wasn’t much noise, which was great. The food was delish!! Roasted octopus was tender and very tasty. The French onion soup was delicious, a classic representation and the toasted croutons still retained some butteriness. I had their Valentines special Beef Wellington…. What a treat! The pastry puff was crispy and flakey, the meat amazingly tender with a mushroom topping. My husband had the kampachi and was very impressed. We ended with the trio of tartlets which was just a perfect tart and sweet ending. The service was excellent … attentive, but discreet. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be back!More infoUpstairs at Pier 38Price: Expensive• Steak• Kalihi-Palama•4.6
- KKathyNew York City •46 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoFood was excellent, loved the raw and grilled oysters. The grilled were wonderful, spicy and Decadent with nori butter. Clam Portuguese dish was nice to share and paired very well with the Rioja that we ordered. My husband got the black squid ink risotto with calamari. This dish was perfect, better than anything we have had in Venice, Italy. I ordered the scallops and as much as they were excellent. I spent a lot of money for two scallops, when I was expecting three. However, the waiter comped dessert. The brownie was yummy! Most important the service wasn’t rush and when I booked we were at the counter, but I asked if we could be moved to a table. Wish was granted and we had a delightful meal.More infoThe Pig and the LadyPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Downtown•4.8
