- VVincentvipWashington, D.C. Area •69 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe chose Cesarina because they make their own pasta in-house as well as their sauces and everything else. Wow - what a great meal! We waited at the bar overlooking the pasta being made so when we were seated, we decided to start with a ravioli and separately, carpaccio. Both were outstanding with some type of truffle oil over the tender carpaccio making it fantastic! We had the Norma sauce (with eggplant) with pasta and the meaty Mafalde al Sugo Napoletano with ribs and sausage and it was made perfectly! We were too stuffed for dessert and boxed up the leftover but will definitely return.More infoCesarinaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Ocean Beach•4.9

We didn’t have great luck with the clams, they were very chewy & overcooked but the broth was delicious. They took it back and a sweet manager, (I’m forgetting names) sent a hamachi that was to die for! Everything else that hit the table was delicious and we were very impressed. The bubbly and celebration desert was super appreciated as well. Honestly made my birthday dinner feel extra special, some places really don’t go the extra mile but they sure know how to impress.More infoHerb & WoodPrice: Expensive• Californian• Little Italy•4.7
- LLauraSan Diego •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWow the food here is absolutely delicious . We started with the oysters and the Wagyu tartare, both were incredible and I had the black cod and my husband had the pasta for dinner and it was amazing. Service from Erick was with a smile and very friendly atmosphere. It’s a bit small, with only one bathroom and was busy on a Saturday night, but we’ll definitely be back!More infoWormwoodPrice: Very Expensive• French• North Park•4.7

As usual he was spot on in suggesting wines, knowing the contents of each dish, and anticipating our needs. And the other support staff did an excellent job -- smoothly orchestrating the evening. The salad we shared and ate every morsel -- lettuce, escarole, radicchio, tomatoes, cucumber, almonds, chickpeas, and green beans with an oregano vinaigrette that was so, so, so delicious. My husband enjoyed his pepperoni pizza. The branzino was divine! We finished with a limoncello and vegan pistachio ice cream.More infoCUCINA urbanaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Banker's Hill•4.7
