- LLynnChicago / Illinois •13 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOne of our favorite restaurants. We were worried about them following the hurricanes but they’ve come back strong and as good as ever! The patio and outdoors have more tables, it’s all been rebuilt and repainted with the same look and charm. The food is on the pricey end but so fresh and delicious. The staff is great as always. Remember to support all of the local businesses that suffered so much loss and devastation.More infoBlu KouzinaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Sarasota•4.8

- PPeterNorthwest Florida •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoBeen a few years since we have had the pleasure of eating here since we live up north. It was the best all-round meal we have had at a restaurant in the last year. The escargot wellington and the lobster bisque to start the meal were packed with flavor and richness. My mother's tiger shrimp and chicken meatballs were delicious. So much good stuff packed in the meatballs with pasta made to perfection. My wife's crusted yellowtail snapper had a good crunch to the outside with flavorful savory fish inside, especially when combined with the tropical fruit jam and the crispy plantains. The paella had so many parts that worked but my favorites were the scallops and the pork belly. To finish the meal, our server recommended a delicious apple galette with a gelato scoop on top and raspberry sauce around thr edge of the plate for extra flavor. It was delightful. The phyllo pastry in both the wellington and galette were well prepared. What a great way to start our Christmas vacation in Sarasota.More infoOphelia's on the BayPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Siesta Key•4.7
- JjeffreyVIPTampa / Central Florida West •24 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoSage is probably the most beautiful restaurant in Sarasota or its environs, and the professionalism of the staff is the highest level we have seen in the area. Unlike most joints which stop serving by 9:00 PM, Sage serves dinner until 10:00 PM on weekdays and 11:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, with last reservation at 9:30. We walked there in 4 minutes from seeing the Ballet at the Sarasota Opera House, and I called ahead to say the performance was delayed (it was an actual world premiere). Bless them, they kept the kitchen open just for us, the last diners, and we had the best after-theatre experience since we've lived in Florida, like the old days when we lived on the Upper West Side and went to Lincoln Center.More infoSage SRQPrice: Expensive• Global, International• Sarasota•4.7
- SSarahGreater Boston •23 reviews5.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024This hidden gem, inside The Modern hotel, is literally the best food we’ve had in Sarasota over the past year of dining out. Cocktails are great, staff is attentive and accommodating, and make very helpful recs when asked. Sit on patio. Don’t forget to order the Brussel sprouts. Lots of options for vegan/gf as well as a fantastic burger for meat lovers. Free parking. Walkable to Fogertyville. We love this place!More infoWink Wink Food and DrinkPrice: Expensive• American• Sarasota•4.5
