- TTraciBaltimore / Maryland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoExcellent experience as always! We return again and again to Root Down for great food and great service. On this visit, we were mired in traffic and I was petrified we would miss our reservation by a long shot. I texted the restaurant and they texted right back with assurances they would save us a seat. What a relief! Every staff member knows the menu and can make recommendations and they kindly checked for food allergies. What a great place to eat when you're in Denver! We try to get there at least once per year.More infoRoot DownPrice: Expensive• American• Highlands•4.8

- SStaceyDenver / Colorado •9 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe service was spot on; our food came out quickly and everything was well executed. The fish and chips were particularly delicious the fish really fresh, the fries and the coating crisp without being oily. Nice wine by the glass selection especially fun to have some good interesting whites. The dessert menu is probably the best value in Denver. Will definitely eat there again.More infoAcovaPrice: Moderate• Comfort Food• Highlands•4.7
- TTaunyaNew York City •19 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Christmas Eve pre-fix dinner was a delight for a family with some food sensitivities and varied palates. We ordered almost all of the special menu options, all of which were sumptuous with rich and mild spice (the duck confit) and comforting (the scallop risotto), with wines that paired beautifully and dessert that gave a seasonal touch to our truly special dinner. Duo is a neighborhood gem!More infoDuo RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Highlands•4.8
