Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Affton

Perennial is perennially AWESOME!!!!! I have lived in Webster Groves for 25 years and among all of Webster's diverse and excellent restaurants, Perennial is my favorite!!!! It fits me and my palate like a glove!!!

Excellent food and service. The martini we had only filled 3/4s of the glasses. We felt a little short-changed on the drinks. However, the glasses of Chardonay we had were excellent. We had the mussels, the Mayfair salad, and the Linguine Vongole (linguini and clams). The mussels in a creams sauce were excellent as there was only one unopened mussel. The three pieces of toast for dipping in the sauce was a good way to enjoy the sauce once the mussels were gone. The waiter and busing staff were friendly and professional. All in all, a very good Valentines Day celebration.

I love this place but tables are so close together sometimes you feel like you are having conversations with people on both sides of you! I understand why they do this but if you want to have a private conversation don’t go here! The food is outstanding!

Great "Valentine's" Dinner. We ate here on February 12, 2025 and had a wonderful meal. We shared an appetizer of Shrimp Italiana that was very good. My wife had the Chicken Spedidni and I had the Chicken Parmigiano. Each entree came with a house salad (Salad Trattoria), vegetables, and a side dish (asparagus for her and pasta with marinara for me). The portions were very generous, so much so that we each took home food for dinner the next night. The chicken was very juicy and tasty; the pasta was cooked to al dente perfection. The vegetables were very tasty and not overcooked. We finished the meal with tiramisu, cheesecake, and coffee. We have eaten here before and the food, service, and atmosphere never disappoint. My husband and I have been to multiple nice steakhouses in the area, and this one has been our favorite thus far. The service was friendly and quick, and the steak was cooked to perfection. Perfect for a date night or special occasion, but the menu had a decent amount of less expensive options as well. Will definitely be returning in the future.
