Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Central

As always an incredible meal at Tavernetta. Went in for a snowy Monday dinner and had a cocktail each, split an app, and two plates of pasta. A light dinner but perfect, and what we were looking for. One of the pastas could’ve benefited from another 5-10s, but with fresh pasta, who cares. Delicious!

great experience, amazing costumer care but way to overpriced.

Our dinner at G&G met and exceeded all expectations. I'd read the reviews and it truly lived up to the hype. The staff was wonderful, knowledgeable, engaging, and worked incredibly well together. The food and drinks were the best we've had. My guy is a huge steak fan through and through, but don't sleep on the cod. We shared the choice ribeye, the wagyu filet, and the cod after having an incredible valentine's started with king crab. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an incredible dining experience from start to finish.

Caveat: it was St. Valentine's Day and we would definitely go back .... we arrived for our 445 pm reservation, got to choose our own seat (as there were only a few others in the restaurant at that time), and had our order taken almost immediately. Server was terrific. Food was amazing and served very quickly. Then the restaurant filled up and we waited and waited to see our server again. When we finally did (40+ min later), we ordered more food and drinks, yet those took close to an hour to arrive. There were many tables around us -- all filled -- either waiting to place their initial order or waiting to get their check. Throughout this, the line at the door backed up and up and up. Have to say, round two of the food and drinks was just as amazing and the server was very apologetic and gracious. She even dropped off a few shots of tequila as a gift. Overall, the food was great, the staff - although overwhelmed - was gracious. As I said at the outset, we would definitely go back.

Third time here and they exceed expectations every time, both with service and deliciousness. The food is to die for. We tend to try their ever changing specials versus what’s on the menu and have never been disappointed. The quality and presentation are superb, and you get your food very quickly. Great value too! Will continue to come here and recommend to others! Personally, my favorite dinner restaurant in Denver thus far!
