Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Navy Yard

We had a very lovely dinner at Circa. The food was delicious. We ordered the calamari, shrimps and wings for appetizers, which were all very good. For main courses, we selected the tuna poke nachos, short ribs, jambalaya pasta, and scallops. All of the dishes were outstanding except for the scallops with risotto. The scallops were great, but the risotto was undercooked. We told the waiter, and he said he would share that with the chef, which we didn't think would really happen, but he came back and said the chef acknowledged that the risotto was undercooked. The manager gave us desserts on the house, which we thought was a great way to compensate for the undercooked risotto. Other than that, everything was outstanding, including the desserts (the bread pudding was the best I ever had), service, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant for date night or a family dinner.

The selection and flavor of the oysters was amazing as well as the attentive staff. The music here is appropriate for the crowd and not too loud. Great selection at the bar including a selection of Pappy to which we had the 15-year. As none of our oyster bars in DC have failed to impress, this will be the one that we make a second visit before we leave.

Really came for the aesthetic of the restaurant which did not disappoint. I think the value of price & food quality was overrated but the chips and salsa that are complimentary was to die for!
