Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Society Hill

What a lovely festive evening at Craftsman Saloon. The outside is all decorated for Christmas and as soon as you enter, you are transported into a wonderland. The music and decor are beautiful. What a perfect way to cap off the Christmas season. The food was less than stellar but prices are good. Our server Brie was attentive and kind. We’ll definitely be back next year for drinks and maybe apps.

We went for lunch & shared charcuterie, cheese plate, & Trout Almondine. All were excellent. Our server, Makenzie, was delightful & attentive without being intrusive, and helpful with suggestions. The only negative was uncomfortable chairs. Otherwise, we had a lovely leisurely lunch.

Generous and delicious spinach and fontina omelette and my date loved the short rib flat bread with broccoli rabe. Great place to grab a bite before or after a movie across the street.

The Twisted Tail delivered an unforgettable birthday celebration. Warm hospitality, exceptional service, live music, and a cozy ambiance complemented perfectly cooked dishes like barbecue ribs, jumbo shrimp, and crawfish mac and cheese. Thoughtful touches, like surprise birthday beignets, added to the charm. Great food, drinks, and value—I can’t wait to return!

Very much enjoyed our Monday-evening dinner with friends. On a Monday evening, it was quieter toward the front, but the back room was energetic. The decorations were festive, perhaps for the holidays, perhaps year-round--we'll have to return to find out! Service was terrific and the food delicious. We shared: - Guacamole de la casa (3 guacamoles: mango, spicy, and regular), each of which were tasty and everyone had a different favorite! - Chips con 3 salsas (red, green, and borracha), each of which were tasty and I couldn't pick a favorite! Two diners had the Quesabirrias tacos and one the Lengua tacos--everyone was pleased with their order. I tried the Carne Asada from the grill and while the sweet plantains were prepared in a drier/crispier style than I prefer, the meat was perfectly seasoned. We shared an order of churros and tres leches cake--the latter was drier than expected, but the 3 churro-lovers thought they were terrific (crispy on the outside, softer on the inside).
