I went to lunch on a whim because it was near my conference. I am so glad I went. The service was so friendly and kind. Red Beans and rice with fried chicken was prepared perfectly. Gumbo is spot on. I loved my experience completely!

Overall it's an amazing restaurant. You definitely need a reservation. However, the hostess was a little stuffy. We checked in and were 20 minutes early. We were told we had to wait. Walked around for 10 minutes and came back. Another couple went to check in with same reservation time as us and were going to be seated - until I stepped forward to question why before us. Once you get seated, the ambiance, service, food and personable staff make up for how the experience started. Definitely save room for dessert. Delicious

Very good food! We ordered the deviled eggs, crawfish beignets, truffle fries, fried oysters, Cuban sandwich, burger, Creole tomato sandwich, French onion soup, gumbo & the scallops. Don’t judge! We were a big group. The crawfish beignets, Cuban sandwich, French onion soup & gumbo were the best out of everything. They were really good! The cocktails were AWESOME! As was the service

As usual, we had a very good experience. We had one of our two preferred servers (Rivers and Sarah) take care of us. Rivers was accommodating and attentive; Sarah stopped by to say hello. The Sardinian red was a very good match for the new funghi pizza. We asked Rivers about the availability of fresh thyme for the pizza and he brought some out. It turned a very good pie into an excellent one. The molten chocolate tort was outstanding.
