Best Restaurants with a Happy Hour in Tyler

We had stopped going to Villagio del Vino some time ago because the service and the food had gone downhill. Having seen some posts on social media about a new chef and new manager, we decided to try again. We were pleasantly surprised and will return. The food was great as was the service.

Overall it was a nice experience. My husband didn’t get his looking lobster tail until he was almost through eating. The management took care of both of us by removing the charge for the lobster without us even asking. Definitely not an every day place to eat but a nice alternative every now and then.

We went for my 50th birthday. Everything we ate was delicious! This was a carnivore's dream! Cold cuts & cheese bar and all the meat you can eat. All very delicious. Our favorite was the picanha but it was all amazing.

I took my staff there for a Thanks for all you have done lunch and a meeting. The food was delicious and plentiful. Our server and the new server he was breaking in were attentive and friendly. We were seated at a table out of the way so hearing the agenda items and discussion was easy. My only concern with this establishment is that it is a bit pricey.

Rick's on the Square never fails to impress. This was our 3rd visit and our meal was delicious! We highly recommend any of the steaks as they are cooked to order and we have never been disappointed! For starters, we highly suggest the shrimp cocktail and calamari. The menu is impressive and we guarantee, there are so many unique choices. Your tastebuds will highly surprised. We recommend Rick's on the square for lunch, dinner and special occasions! The staff is very friendly and goes out of their way to accommodate requests. The music is enjoyable and the entire ambiance is truly comfortable. Rick's on the Square is a true jewel for Tyler! We will definitely be back!
