Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Headingley

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner at the Velvet Glove Restaurant. Rita, who served our meals and answered all our questions regarding which wines paired best with our entrees was exceptional! She truly made my family and I feel special and well taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. I asked for my tenderloin to be prepared medium rare and it was perfect! The lobster bisque was to die for…. out of this world. My youngest daughter and I shared the lobster fondue and we both agreed it was delicious. And then the chocolate fondue dessert….. wow! This is definitely something I would love to do again. Thank you for the wonderful memories! And thank you Rita for suggesting the live interactive dinner …… it is on my list to try next!

We started our Christmas shopping with a quick lunch - hubby and I shared the salad and they split it for us - which was very nice. The Tiny Tuna Taco's were delish - but dont' stay together very well - first bite and they crumbled apart. BUT they were GOOD. The server was wonderful and chatty - took care of us right away. The manager followed to check up on us and see how everything was going - however the managers perfume was over powering - and for someone with a scent allergy - all I could smell and taste afterwards was her perfume. :( that was the only downer - We will be back though - it was very enjoyable
