Where it all started. Our first location on 720 Queen Street West opened in 1992. From a storefront selling imported Italian pantry staples with only a handful of seating to our most recent renovation and expansion celebrating our 30 years of Terroni, our first ever location got a much deserved face lift, elevating both the look and function of this neighbourhood favourite while still retaining its character of being warm and inviting.Despite its modern, updated new look, the original spirit of Terroni that kicked off three decades of authentic Italian experience lives here.

It's a little of this, a little of that and a whole new take on Italian. Our story is simple. Everything we can make fresh daily, we do. Including our hand-stretched mozzarella (made-to-order every day between 5pm & 11pm), our pasta, our signature 1/2 lb meatballs, our dough, bread and desserts. Our mission? Great people helping other great people totally have a blast while enjoying amazing food. Wow, that was a mouthful. But can you blame us? We’re a restaurant. One that specializes in delicious food and great times. Our goal is to make you laugh. And depending on your hot sauce tolerance, cry.In all seriousness, we take real pride in our food. Try our Cluckin’ Fresh Chicken Fingers, made and seasoned with fresh, never frozen chicken tenders. This isn’t run-of-the-mill pub grub. Our Band of Chefs are influenced by a wide variety of tastes and have travelled across the globe to gain inspiration. But outside of the kitchen, we find it hard to take ourselves seriously. We have an Elvis booth. For no particular reason. Folks, that really does say it all. We’re sports fanatics, music nuts and love a good joke. If you’re into at least one of those things, we should hang out.

A Memorable Dinner at Pizzeria Libretto - University Following a later afternoon at the TSO, we had such a fantastic dining experience at Libretto. From the food to the service, everything exceeded expectations in the best way possible. Starters: We began with the Meatballs – a mix of beef, pork, and veal in a rich house sugo, topped with shaved pecorino and served with Neapolitan pizza points. While they were enjoyable, I’ll admit they didn’t quite hit the same note as they did when we first tried them back in 2019. Mains: The pizzas were the real stars of the evening: Funghi – A white pizza loaded with cremini mushrooms, gorgonzola crema, garlic, thyme, rosemary, fior di latte mozzarella, and pecorino. The combination was rich, earthy, and absolutely perfect. Housemade Sausage – Another white pizza featuring panna, fennel sausage, caramelized onions, fior di latte mozzarella, parmigiano-reggiano, chili oil, and fresh basil. It had just the right kick from the chili oil, and the sausage was packed with flavor. Both pizzas were spot-on and lived up to Libretto’s reputation for incredible Neapolitan-style pies. Drinks & Dessert: We paired our meal with a Negroni on draft and a glass of red wine recommended by our server, Jenna, which complemented the meal perfectly. For dessert, we treated ourselves to two tiramisus, and they did not disappoint. Creamy, light, and so satisfying, they were the perfect way to end the evening. Service: Jenna made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we walked in, she showed what professional service looks like. Despite being busy prepping tables when we arrived, she immediately paused to greet us with a warm smile and get us seated. Throughout the evening, she struck the perfect balance of attentiveness—never hovering or being overly fake. We never had to look for her when we needed something, whether it was a drink refill or a question about the menu. She took my allergies seriously, promised to double-check wi

Service and Food were amazing. Ambiance spacious but not atmosphere was not all that intimate. On pricier side (especially appetizers), but the food was delicious.

Pasta dishes were served 30 minutes late and were comped, but came out rushed and watery. Very disappointing given the reputation of the food. Service was lackadaisical. Won't return.

I often go to the Terroni Adelaide location, so this was my first time on Queen. A different ambiance overall, much more quaint and sort of trendy type place, but with the same great Terroni food and service. Without pause, I always ask the waiter for their recommendation and go with it. I have yet to be steered wrong (helps I am not a picky eater). The waiter always has multiple suggestions, as they did this evening, and are knowledgeable on each item. More of the same is to be said about their wine recommendations. I can’t promote Terroni enough, and now that I am aware of the several locations, I thoroughly look forward to experiencing each of the locations in the near future!
