An understated storefront hides a coveted skyline view—just one of the many ways you could underestimate this longtime cafe on Mount Baker’s main drag.     It was unexpected and a pleasant surprise that our waitress, Taylor, remembered our preferences from our previous dining time. She brought us unsalted bread and unsalted butter and remembered that we also ordered a bottle of Pellegrino. Again, a pleasant surprise for us that she remembered our salt free preference. We ordered the 12 oz filet and New England lobster roll, with a shared salad and octopus appetizer, all items were perfectly made. Latte was delicious and banana sundae too.

    We went here for my mom's birthday and had a fantastic time! The tea selections were wonderful and I loved that there was an option to do tea lattes which I had never seen before. Our server was particularly wonderful. She was warm, knowledgeable, and made incredible drinks! Food was a great variety and every bite was delicious. The atmosphere and scenery were cute and very pleasant with lots of greenery. My only wish is that there were more bathrooms but that is out of their control. For a special occasion or really any day, high tea experience here is well worth it!
