Best Kid Friendly Restaurants in Victoria

We had a great experience at Superflux {Cabana}. The owner greeted us "super" cordially, took us to a great table, sent the bar manager over to go over the gluten free options we'd inquired about, and help me choose my wine. Our order was taken, our drinks brought over right away, and the food arrived in no time:) Both my burger and our plentiful beautifully presented garden salads were delicious! We got to our show in plenty of time, without feeling rushed. We really appreciated the gracious, friendly service as well as the decor and ambiance:)

When an entire hockey team of teenage boys is occupying half the restaurant, the experience for the rest of the guests will be compromised, as we experienced. Volume was ridiculous. Food was slow to come out. All not Bin 4's fault, directly -- though why a restaurant of limited size would accept a reso for over 22 teenage boys is beyond me. My real complaint was that our server was absolutely non-committed to our dining experience. Her visits were few and far between and even when we asked other staff to flag her down, she didn't show up at key times (ordering, refills on water, ordering more drinks, even just asking for a bill). She wasn't serving the large group, so her absences were rather inexplicable. It made our night a three hour venture, instead of two. Food was great. Drinks were great when we could get them. But non-existent service? A real downer.

The food was phenomenal, wait staff was very nice and helpful, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! The decor is very nice, music was a little too loud for my taste, but a truly lovely evening. We'll definitely be returning!

What a wonderful evening. The menu provided creative options that we would not normally be able to find. Definitely would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to enjoy fine dining in a casual setting. Who knows, we may have had a meal prepared by the next Canadian Master Chef star!

The restaurant was not crowded at 5:30 on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. The waitress appeared quickly and came back to take our orders after a short wait. The food was delivered in good time and was hot. We enjoyed our time.
