Best Lunch Restaurants in Asheville

Amazing experience! Great customer service from the hostess to our server. The French toast was amazing and was a great compliment to our omelettes.

My only negative was that the men’s room floor was very slippery. The floor outside the restrooms was also slippery. We had someone on a walker and we were a little worried about his safety. My mistake for not bringing it to anyone’s attention.

We enjoy Modesto every time we go! The intimate dining room is always filled with laughter and delicious smells. My husband loves the Old Fashioned here, and it’s one of the few we’ve found in Asheville that’s made perfectly. The Prosecco was not too sweet and was pleasantly dry. We enjoyed the crab cakes for our appetizer, as per usual, and the pickled veggies that come with it are so delicious I could eat an entire bowl. We ordered the veal chops and seafood carbonara (my personal comfort go-to). The portions are extremely generous and everything is delicious. The textures of the seafood here are always spot on! We finished off the evening with a chocolate pistachio torte that was buttery, smooth, and decadent. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name because she was STELLAR. Even though we were the latest reservation of the night, she met us with enthusiasm and kindness. She was extremely attention and I would be ecstatic to be seated in her section anywhere, any time. Cheers to another wonderful experience at one of our favorite local spots!

You really cannot beat this place for casual, fun, and great views!! Menu is pretty limited but what's there is really good and the prices for the atmosphere and location are fantastic.

Great meal from a gem in Ashville. From bar service to desert this was a fine evening thanks to a great wait staff and chef. Seafood risotto was well prepared and presented with scallops and trout. Steak tartare app was fantastic. 5 stars!
