Best Lunch Restaurants in Downingtown

Everything was delicious, probably the best meal I have had out in a while! BYOB (not mentioned on the website) -Portion sizes are very generous -Great menu selection -everything we had was really delicious, like traditional dishes but elevated quality and plated beautifully -Friendly and attentive staff -ambiance is fun and trendy but not loud at all

We’d eaten here a month ago for lunch and loved it! Decided to come back for dinner and picked my husband’s birthday to dine here. White Dog Cafe did not disappoint! I enjoyed the rack of lamb and he had the flounder with crab; both were absolutely exquisite! And the broccolini was the best ever. This meal was the most enjoyable and memorable we’ve had in a long time. We’ll be back for my birthday next month. Thank you White Dog Cafe!

The food was fabulous, so although the menu wasn't extensive - it didn't need to be. yum! The selection of bourbon was amazing - I didn't know that many even existed. And the server was very helpful in making a selection for my Old Fashioned. This was our first time here - but it won't be our last.

We had a party of ten people, which normally would be a hassle for this style of restaurant. Amazingly, the service, the food and the attention to detail made the experience well worth it. Only suggestion is that they turn down the volume slightly on the PA.

We love Anthony’s so I knew this is where I wanted to go for my birthday. There was a slight mix up with our reservation because Anthony’s was also hosting a private party upstairs, so we had to wait a bit but the owner was so sweet and worked on getting us seated as quickly as possible. Our favorite thing to order is the Burrata- it is absolutely wonderful. It’s fresh, a nice mix of flavors, and a really large portion. My husband got chicken carbonara and I got the special pasta- Tuscana pasta with chicken. Again- wonderful. Our server, Jackie, was amazing and all of the staff- bus boys, food runners, hostesses etc. are constantly working hard to make sure everyone is attended to. The owners are very kind, welcoming and attentive to their customers. Despite having to wait, it was totally worth it and will be back many times!
