- SScottRaleigh / Durham / Chapel Hill •7 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoA truly great French restaurant, with excellent dishes and outstanding service. Dishes tried. Every one was outstanding: oysters, escargot, sea bass, duck confit, hanger steak, creme brûlée. Steak frites with hanger steak and Bearnaise sauce was cooked to perfection medium-rare. Duck confit with melted leeks and banyuls jus was terrific, and I make duck confit regularly. The restaurant has to be one of the most beautiful in the city with high-ceilings and decor that makes you feel you are in Paris. Service was as good as the food. The bartenders, server, and service/FOH manager went out of the way to accommodate a couple of requests.More infoLa Belle HelenePrice: Expensive• French• Uptown•4.6

- GGaryVIPCharlotte •29 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoJust had a killer night at Napa on Providence with a couple of friends. We snagged seats at the bar and dove into the harissa cauliflower, whipped goat cheese, and octopus. The harissa cauliflower had just the right kick, the whipped goat cheese with pickled beets and truffle honey was a creamy delight, and the octopus was tender and flavorful. Our server, Gigi, was on point—super friendly and knew her stuff. The vibe was laid-back yet classy, making it a perfect spot to unwind. If you’re looking for a place with great food, drinks, and atmosphere, Napa on Providence is a solid choice.More infoNapa on ProvidencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Myers Park•4.6
