The Bibendum Oyster Bar - a local stalwart - is steered masterfully under the direction of Lyon born 2 Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi. The large tiled foyer of the great Michelin building remains, and it’s great for a glass of fizz and a few oysters (there are always many varieties to choose from), and also perfect to stay a bit longer for a more leisurely lunch or dinner. Expect plenty of fresh seafood; oysters, langoustine and the signature seafood platters - alongside a comprehensive yet affordable wine list. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful evening here on Sat 21st Dec. As always, the food was simply superb, the wine and cocktails plentiful and the staff were all on top form. The scallops are still my favourite starter and creamed spinach with your steak is never going to let you down. Fantastic in every sense.

It was my partner’s birthday and the staff made sure to make it a special occasion . We were invited to meet Claude himself and our every need was catered to. I have been to lots of Michelin restaurants but this was by far the stand out. An experience as it should be.

Awesome atmosphere, the decor was amazing, and really set the tone for the evening. The host staff were very polite and acommodating. Wait staff were very professional and courteous. Food was amazing!

A wonderful dinner for our honeymoon / first wedding anniversary. We’ve always wanted to come to Bibendum and we were so pleased that it was as lovely as we had hoped. We had the Bibendum burger which was delicious. Great service and a lovely little treat for our anniversary. Thanks!
