Situated in Forest Hills, Queens, our cozy venue is inspired by the idea of exhibiting the essential manifestations of pre-Hispanic Peruvian art and offering a culinary experience full of history and flavor. Our goal is to engage with the community and make them proud of our commitment to high-quality food and service, with a diverse menu that ranges from the famous ceviche to different preparations of meats, sauces, and drinks. Our beverages range from popular Peruvian soft drinks, like the purple corn lemonade, to creative cocktails prepared with exotics fruits from all over the continent and the national liqueur of Peru: El Pisco. This colorless spirit made of grape juice has become the “next big thing” in the US, and we are taking it to the next level by infusing it with fruits such as golden berries, passion fruit, pineapple, and ginger. K’antu’s signature cocktail menu is full of unique tastes. of meats, sauces, and “Pisco” signature drinks, a Peruvian brandy.

Went there with some friends after seeing the "tree". We tried to move up our reservation since we were done earlier than usual. Unfortunately, they were not able to because they were FULLY booked. We arrived early anyway and boy, was it crowded! We were able to order sit and order drinks by the bar and surprisingly, we were seated at our exact reservation time. That was amazing because we thought we were going to be pushed back due to how busy it was. Everyone there was so nice. Our waiter, Louis, was wonderful. The level of service at this restaurant is above and beyond. It is now our yearly tradition. The food was delicious and done to perfection. The way the restaurant is decorated for Christmas is beautiful.

Fabulous lunch. Prices of wines are unbelievable as with the whole of New York. Nothing at all under $60 then add tax and 20% service and its around £100 a bottle of ordinary wine! The Boathouse only adds a standard 15% service so all credit to them. The member of staff was really talkative and he was trying to be nice, but it was overpowering

The food was excellent and graciously presented. Ordering was done technically. There was no printed menu. I had preordered the omakase for two. We asked about a carafe of sake. The waitress looked at her phone and suggested two for us to try. We were not shown a menu directly. My companion saw $50 next to our choice. When the bill came the charge was $120. A glass was $50! We complained but they refused any accommodation. They said that is what the bottle cost. The service was naive and they lost what would have been a good customer as I live 5 blocks from the restaurant. Even a small gesture would have been appreciated.
