Best Lunch Restaurants in San José del Cabo

Lovely rooftop restaurant in a garden setting with great views of the street life and festivities below. The food was made with high quality and delicious flavors using all local ingredients and freshest seafood. So much variety for even the pickiest of eaters. The service impeccable! And if you’re celebrating a special occasion be prepared for a surprise that will leave you breathless.

We are locals and frequent Habaneros, We love the location, the ambiance and the food and drinks. There was one hiccup and it wasnt a complaint just annoying when the waiter came up as we were departing to ask me to rate him on social media. I told him no thanks, we dont have time. I think that it is too much to ask to be put on the spot to give approval when waiter wasnt wonderful, he was just ok.... but it wont stop us from returning, we love Habaneros.

From the moment we entered Omakai we just knew we were going to have a fabulous evening and dinner. The welcoming we received and the ambience set the mood immediately. And the rest did not disappoint. To begin with the service was spot on and knowledge of menu and libations made our selections for the evening perfection. The menu was interesting which made our selections harder because we wanted everything. The crispy rice cakes with fatty tuna tartare melted in your mouth. It was so good we had a second one for dessert. LOL. All of the fish was as fresh as if it just came off the boat. My husband and I have dined in many sushi restaurants around the world and Omakai ranks among the best.

Favorite place for artisan tacos in San José. Prices are fabulous! Only issue is too popular at times and difficult to book. Haha! Establishment size is medium-small, which likely attributes to booking, but is part of the charm.

Rode bikes over to Rubas from our hotel. They had a safe spot for us to store them. Food was delicious and unique & the customer service was excellent! Highly recommend.
