Best Lunch Restaurants in St. Peters

What an unexpected and pleasant surprise this restaurant was, nestled within the old Eagle Tavern. The ambience and decor really aligned with the broader theme of a southern farm to table kitchen. The cocktails were spectacular, especially if you like whiskey, because they have an incredible selection. The sweet potato hush puppies were perfectly fried, and the honey and sauce were delicious. We ordered the short rib and salmon, and the chef was able to make adjustments to the vegetables to address an allergy issue. Both plates were licked completely clean because everything was absolutely delicious. We also got the skillet cornbread and while it was two cut slices on a skillet and not an actual skillet, the flavor was delicious. The only adjustment I would suggest there is the butter was chilled, which made it hard to spread. I wasn’t as excited about the dessert selection but honestly, I didn’t need dessert because the meal was just spectacular. Special shout out to our server, Maddie, who was perfectly attentive without being ever present.

Friends and I went to the Pajama Brunch on New Years Day at the White Dog Cafe in Chester Springs. This is the first that I have been to this new White Dog. It is wonderful. It has tons of character and many small rooms. They have retained the country charm of the old home. The food is always excellent. My two friends had the specials, which were yummy. The waffles with fruit compote and syrup with a taste of coffee were delicious. I recommend White Dog for a terrific dining experience.

In a single word: Outstanding!! We have gone for the Seven Fishes buffet on Christmas Eve for three years straight and this year was even better. They just keep improving year by year and they were already great to begin with. The staff is top notch, the restaurant itself is very nice. It’s situated in a “restaurant row” and the parking is easy to navigate. As far as the food, it’s incredible!! It’s ok if you don’t like fish, that’s OK. They have plenty of options. It’s all superb. They cherry on top is their staff. Everyone is super nice and polite. The gentlemen working the carving station recognized that one of our party had mobility issues and made sure to bring her the salmon as soon as it was brought out. He wasn’t even a server and he brought it to the table!! It was indicative of the level of service offered. I can say enough great things about this place. We have eaten there multiple times over the years and aver meal has been terrific!! Looking forward to the next time. Thank you for reading this and try the Brickside, you won’t be sorry!

We had our Christmas Eve dinner at Firebirds and it was a wonderful meal! My daughter said the Sirloin may have been the best steak she’s ever had. Our server Cam was awesome! Highly recommend Firebirds for a special occasion or casual night out. 👍🏼👍🏼

Wonderful evening reminiscing over numerous Tuesday night Date Nights. The libations were excellent and dinner was delicious with leftovers! Trudy and John are excellent mixologists. Looking forward to our next visit to see family and friends.
