Best Organic Food Restaurants in Financial District / Embarcadero

We had a great time here! Great food, awesome vibe, everything was really good! There were 4 of us and we had the Burger, Steak Dianne, Beef Cheek Stroganoff and the Rigatoni (which IS freshly, house -made rigatoni, despite what the "Karen" from TX wrote/reviewed) and then we split an amazing Creme Brulee! Definitely recommend!!

I’ve been going to Palio for nearly 20 years and the food is consistently excellent. I have never, NEVER had a bad meal here. The service is attentive, warm, personable…you feel as if you are a valued guest every time you dine there. This is a place where you can actually have a dinner conversation without screaming at the top of your lungs. Wait staff have been there for years which makes Palio fee like a close knit family. Favorite dishes: Fritto misto (can’t go wrong!), branzino, spaghetti with Dungeness crab, any of the pizzas!

I have been a customer of this Gem for over 20 years. The food is authentic Italian with a modern creative touch to it. Best of all it is seasonal which gives you something to look forward to every quarter. The clams and mussels come in several broths and it never fails that when I bring a guest they all fawn over it. Service is good and the owners pay close attention to making everyone comfortable. The decor is reminicint of Pompei and one of the owners Pinot will tell you the story of it if you ask. This is one of my “Go To “ restaurants in San Francisco, love the owners and love the food. It is traditionally perfect.

Our party of 10 was very happy with their food selections and service at Fish & Farm. It may be off the beaten path a bit but its worth visiting for lunch or dinner. Service is efficient and always done with a smile and you wont leave hungry, frustrated or disappointed. Will definitely visit again - esp with a group. Layout and space excellent for a cocktail hour or full on private event.
