- AAnthonyDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoInitial inspection was pleasant. When you enter the restaurant, you'll see it's well appointed with mostly natural materials (namely stone walls, funky glass vases, and a very pretty open kitchen). The service was attentive, but not overbearing. The only low was the filet tenderloin. While the sauce was delicious, and the visual was amazing, the meat itself didn't quite make the mark. Otherwise, the appetizers and desert were all amazing and performed. In the end, I would highly recommend this as a great fine-ish (not quite casual, not quite fine dining) dining experience.More infoDowntowner Woodfire GrillPrice: Expensive• American• Saint Paul•4.7

- EErinMinneapolis - St. Paul •2 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoDinner was spectacular. We got the scallops and pork belly, roasted cauliflower, rainbow trout, artisanal seasonal pasta, roasted carrots, and the donuts and chocolate creme brûlée for dessert. Wow! Everything was so delicious! Our favorite was the trout which had this exquisite sauce and the skin was crispy and delicious. The pasta was awesome with zucchini, peas, asparagus, mint, and lemon. The carrots had the most delicious lemon yogurt sauce! And the cauliflower was seasoned with some Indian tasting spices and had these crispy chickpeas which added the perfect crunch. The donuts were to die for! It’s a huge portion of 10 gigantic beignets style donuts. So good! Amy was our server. She was engaging and attentive and the food came out perfectly timed We will definitely be back!More infoCedar + Stone, Urban TablePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Bloomington•4.6
- JJennineMinneapolis - St. Paul •3 reviews5.0Dined on 10 Feb 2025We received a gift card for Christmas and saved it for our anniversary dinner. Everything about the experience was exceptional. The staff was welcoming and gracious and our server, Henry, was an absolute joy. We each had a cocktail and shared the nachos for an appetizer. I'm not normally one to gush over nachos but OH! were they delicious. I'd eat those 100 times. I had the salmon, which was perfectly cooked; my husband had the sturgeon which was also perfect. We ended the dinner with a surprise dessert in honor of our anniversary. All in all, it was pricey but worth it for a special occasion. We'll definitely go back.More infoBaldamarPrice: Expensive• Steak• Roseville•4.9
