We had a wonderful evening. The commitment to sustainable sourcing and management is commendable/awesome. A+. The setting, the service, the pacing of the meal and the fresh, farm raised offerings were excellent. The prix fixe menu offered two starters per person and a main, or a starter/main/dessert. The amount of food was too generous and guidance on portion sizes would have been helpful. We enjoyed the starters immensely but they were quite large. The main courses - pork and lamb - were delicious but busy - again substantial and might benefit from a simpler presentation. The bowl of root veggies that came with the mains was yummy but we could not finish it. Overall, a wonderful concept that we support but might need some refining in terms of menu design and portion clarity.

The experience at the Black Cat Farm is one like no other. The service is fantastic, the views and ambiance are unmatched. The food is delicious, fresh as can be, and plentiful. This truly is something special- and the family and team that runs it are special. The passion for food and agriculture is evident- and the time was taken by the owner/ chef to share and explain this magical place. It is a pricey evening, for sure, but if you are looking for a once in a lifetime- completely unique dining experience, it will not disappoint.

From the welcome by the valet to the moment we left, the evening was very special. The food is absolutely delicious and the presentation is exquisite. Everyone w/o works there makes sure you are well taken care of. Highly recommend The Flagstaff House.

The experience was next level here. It was a girls’ dinner for a friend’s birthday and they were beyond generous with complimentary bubbles and dessert. The food was amazing and the service outstanding. What a treat! Will be back soon.

This is a true neighborhood gem. Try the salmon pasta!
