Best Organic Food Restaurants in Bloomingdale

Had dinner with friends at Naxos today. Food was delicious! We all enjoyed our dinner very much. The whole Black Sea Bass dish was one of the best we’ve tasted. The Grilled Shrimp Kyklades (ladolemono, baked eggplant, tomato and feta) was so, so good! Seaside Halibut (gigantes, avocado, and kapia pepper salad, lemon-dill vinaigrette) was excellent; as was the scallops dish. Will definitely return. On our next visit, we’ll ask to be seated farther away from the bar area, which has a fantastic vibe, but for this particular dinner, we would have liked a quieter section of the restaurant as we had some catching up to do and it was a bit loud to have a conversation. Restaurant has a Beautiful ambience. The owner is very gracious. She came up to us to ask if we had enjoyed our dinner, and even took some pictures of us by the Naxos sign. Looking forward to our next dinner here!

Highly recommend this restaurant! We were a party of five and had reservations; we arrived early but they sat us immediately. Extensive menu selection so we needed extra time to decide what to order. All the food arrived quickly, hot and served at the same time… most importantly, everything was DELICIOUS! One warning: huge portions of food so we couldn’t finish and didn’t order dessert. Our server Lena was on point, friendly, attentive and patient with us. We came on a rainy mid-December night… the place was busy and loud but Lena and other staff were helpful and didn’t miss a beat. We will definitely come back when we return to NYC.

Lovely Christmas luncheon with my staff. Beautifully decorated for the holidays with long-standing very attentive staff. Spinach pie is always a standout along with any fish. A wonderful leisurely lunch.

This was our first visit. Restaurant is beautiful decorated and furnished inside. Service was top notch and food was excellent. They also have an amazing wine list with something to match everyone’s budget. We felt extremely well taken care of! Highly recommend for a great elegant and proper experience.

Great pastrami sandwiches true to the Carnegie tradition and reputation for the best sandwiches for generations. Celebrated my birthday with a huge slice of German chocolate cake enough for six adults! Wonderful staff and Great experience!
