- JJoannaSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food was great! Our food was served haphazardly; an appetizer came with 2 out of our 4 entrees. That was weird and then maybe 5-10 minutes later they brought out the other appetizer and entrees. I had mentioned in the reservation that we were there to celebrate a birthday but they didn’t mention it or did anything. Maybe I should’ve reminded them but why ask on the app if this reservation was for a special occasion? By 7:30pm they had already ran out of three of the popular cocktails which was a bit of a bummer because I really wanted to try their Morir Soñando which was my favorite traditional drink as a kid and they have added a blend of alcohol to it. Regardless, We all enjoyed our food, especially the fried goat, the whole fish on a bed of red beans and the oxtails. The waiters were friendly which made up for the timing of our meals. We will definitely return!More infoalaMar Dominican KitchenPrice: Expensive• Caribbean• Oakland•4.6
- JJaySan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a party of 7 for a birthday dinner. The seafood fettuccine was outstanding. The lamb rack, the sole, and the prime rib were also excellent. The only minor disappointment was the braised short rib, which was good, but not great, especially in comparison to the other dishes. We were pleased with the appetizers, calamari and the filet mignonettes were both very good. We brought one bottle of red wine and ordered a bottle of a French white burgundy, so they waved the corkage on the bottle that we brought. Cocktails from the bar were properly made and tasty. I look forward to going back again. I should note that there isn't any on-site parking, so arrive a bit early to locate an on-street parking spot.More infoParadiso - San LeandroPrice: Expensive• Italian• San Leandro•4.7
- JJeannineSan Francisco Bay Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAs a vegan, it's refreshing to have a restaurant where I can order anything off the menu. And Millennium is, by far, the best vegan restaurant I've been to -- the food is exquisite. My husband, who is not vegan, ordered the burger and soup, and he raved about both. We ordered drinks, entrees and dessert and everything was top-notch. I wish I could eat there every night!More infoMillennium OaklandPrice: Expensive• Vegan• Oakland•4.6
