We are proud to say that our Aussie beef come from 100% Organic Fortitude Valley Farm, and our free-range chicken does not have any harmful hormone. We are very meticulous about using only the best of ingredients, even with condiments, such as gluten-free soy sauce and organic miso.

We've since added restaurants in Circular Quay, Westfield Sydney, Neutral Bay, Chatswood and Galeries Victoria, and in 2015 we added organic, fresh produce from our farm in Byron Bay. As soon as Amy Chanta flung open the doors in 1989 Chat Thai became an instant smash hit with Sydney diners already familiar with Thailand and no appetite for compromising on ingredients, flavours, textures and aromas. Searching all across Sydney for the correct vegetables, herbs and sauces Amy was able to set herself apart through a stubborn dedication to reminding diners of their unforgettable food experiences on the streets of Bangkok.Three decades later we are proud to continue Amy’s vision by adding organic vegetables from Boon Luck Farm to serve up authentic Thai dishes we ourselves want to eat. Unique flavours the Thai diaspora crave from the motherland but struggle to find outside of their own home cooking.

    I honestly loved each dish - my new favourite Thai restaurant! The fresh veggies in each dish were distinctive, eg stalk of fresh green peppercorns - something I’ve never tasted before. Must be from their own farm…?

    The ramen and the beef ribs were pretty great. The sashimi was a bit overpriced for the small amounts of food but the presentation was nice. The duck was the most disappointing. Servers spilled food and drinks on us because of the Sat rush so that was the biggest negative. All in all though would go back again for the beef ribs. An extra bonus for the gf selection. Would have loved to have tried the items we saw on the website menu but they weren't available the night we went.

    The food was delicious but the serving size of some of the dishes could have been bigger. We ordered the crispy pork but there wasn't many pieces of pork. The ambience of the place is really nice and good for groups.
