- OTOpenTable DinerWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI had the lobster roll and truffle fries meal which was one of the best I’ve had in the city. The meal was sooooo deelish!!!! I’ve been to DH for Howard U HoCo parties but have never been for brunch. I’ll definitely be back!!! I may consider this place for my annual bday brunch.More infoDirty Habit | The Glass HousePrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Penn Quarter•4.3
- JJoanWashington, D.C. Area •17 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoYesterday evening we celebrated my daughter's 38th birthday at Elizabeth's- and now all of us are ready to go back tonight. The minute you walk in the door of Elizabeth's you feel as if you have been welcomed into a cosy and elegant historical home. We were greeted warmly by Elizabeth and the staff, all of whom are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and culinarily multi-talented. And the dinner experience is similar to being served a new piece of artwork with each course. Would I ever be able to replicate the Klamath Return, a kombu-marinated chioggia beet, caraway crisp and celery root, or the Cleopatra's Ambrosia, with sea buckthorn, pink banana sorbet and kinome leaf, or the Velvet Immortal with the saffron pickled enoki mushroom? Not in my wildest dreams. My family normally inhales their food, but this time conversation was at a minimum as we took time to appreciate each new amazing taste sensation. Our party consisted of one vegan, one vegetarian , and two omnivores, and all of us agreed Elizabeth's is the best restaurant in DC.More infoElizabeth'sPrice: Very Expensive• Vegan• Downtown•4.9

- DDavidWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews4.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024Opaline is a great choice if you want a lively after-work spot to meet. Tile floor and otherwise hard surfaces make the noise level pretty high. Bit of an own goal on my part for making a reservation to meet my sister and her husband for dinner here, as the restaurant wasn't really suited to a quiet evening of conversation. (It says "Bar" right there in the name, so I guess Reading is Fundamental.) We actually considered going somewhere else but glad we stayed because the food and service were both quite good. A fresh take on Caesar salad, a delicious just-right pappardelle perfect for a cold evening and a lovely dark chocolate cake for dessert.More infoOpaline Bar and BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Downtown•4.4
- BBobVIPHouston •14 reviews5.0Dined on 11 Dec 2024Went for my wife's birthday. From the hostess thru all the servers wished her a happy birthday. Most tender steak we've ever had. Enjoyed the complementary appetizer also. Very cordial and attentive staff.More infoBourbon Steak - Four Seasons Washington DCPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Georgetown•4.8
