Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Dunstable

My husband and I have been searching for a restaurant for Sunday lunch for some now we’ve found it. And what a wonderful experience! There is nothing that we could fault at Lussmanns,Harpenden. Every aspect of our experience there was perfect. I had not thought when I booked to alert the staff that my husband is partially disabled, in that he finds it hard work to walk any significant difference. This doesn’t usually matter as he can walk about 50 m with support from me. We have a wheelchair in the car and and we would use it as appropriate. Today our progress from car to restaurant, a very small distance, was hampered by the fact that the ground was very slippery. Anyway, we made it! And what a joy eating at Lussmans was. The service was impeccable, the staff could not have been more helpful. The food was out of this world delicious, the ambience was quiet despite the restaurant being busy……what’s not to like? As we were leaving we told the lovely man who helped Ken into his wheelchair that we would award them 125 out of 100 and that we would most certainly be back. Indeed we have now decided that we will eat there every Sunday lunchtime if possible. Very well done, Lussmanns Harpenden

Service is very good - friendly helpful staff . We had the festive lunch menu which was excellent! The presentation and quality of food is outstanding as well as all the little extras to try. Great choice on the wine menu too ranging from a glass to a bottle! Would highly recommend!

The food and the service at this restaurant is exceptional

The staff are always so friendly and first rate. Good quality ingredients and lovely food. Popular for a reason, so make sure you book if you can!

We had an excellent lunch. The Christmas pie which 3 of us had was delicious with plenty of turkey, stuffing and sausage. Additional vegetables of Broccoli stems, carrot and cauliflower were plentiful and the gravy was tasty too. Excellent service from our waiter and we look forward to another visit soon.
