Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Crowthorne

Our first time at the Greyhound. We both had the tasting menu which was absolutely lovely. The service is excellent, and we were looked after superbly. It was much more than a meal and more like ‘an experience’. My partner and I were amazed when we left, that we had been there for almost 4 hours. Finally, you know you’re in a place that thinks of everything when they 1. Have a presentation box with different strength reading glasses for those of us that always forget our glasses. 2. At the end of the meal, you are given a bag with 2 gift boxes with breakfast for the next day. Superb all round and we will definitely be back.

We loved our lunch here today. It was our first visit and we will definitely return. We liked the traditional menu with some additional Greek options. Delicious homemade food and warm, comforting surroundings. Plus lovely service, thank you!

Plenty of delicious choices on the menu; all those we chose were extremely tasty and more than came up to expectations. This was our second visit here after a very good experience earlier in the year and we were certainly not disappointed. Everything, including the warm welcome and friendly, knowledgeable service and of course the superb food and drink was excellent and we can’t wait to return! A perfect way to start our Christmas celebrations.

We booked for Christmas Eve and had the festive menu and as always the food and service were excellent. Special mention for our waiter, Joe Lynskey, who was amazing. Thank you for a lovely evening.
