Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Waddesdon

What a find! Came across this restaurant by accident, and had one of our best experiences for years. Fantastic food, excellent friendly service, and a really cool venue. Highly recommend

The most beautiful restaurant especially in a window seat overlooking the river. The service is spot on- attentive but not at all intrusive eg when our water ran out it was quickly and quietly replaced before we’d even noticed. We were not hurried along and they didn’t rush to give us our bill. And the food is simply lovely; very attractively presented, very tasty and I just wish I could have eaten more. It was my first visit to the Green Oak we have wanted to go for a while and it did not disappoint. Such a lovely place we were greeted warmly and had a lovely table. The car park was busy it looked like there was a lot of people but inside it was spacious with plenty of room. The service was first class so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious beautifully cooked we had the fish and chips. It was my birthday and I was given complimentary sweet treat which was a lovely touch. I would highly recommend a visit and we will definitely return.

The restaurant feels very warm and homely. This is lovely environment where you can have a stable choice such as fish and chips or something a little more extravagant. Cheese Doughnuts, Bread with Chicken butter are a must have. If you live within 10 miles then 100% you need to visit. If you live further a field, it is worth the effort, maybe plan a small trip into Windsor afterwards to see the castle.
