- CCindyVIPAlabama •6 reviews5.0Dined todayThe atmosphere is that of a speakeasy with dark wood and minimal lighting. Wonderful handcrafted cocktails all with a history backstory are offered. Our server was very knowledgeable of the cocktails and we indulged in a couple of mezcal concoctions that did not disappoint. We ordered pizzas, one of which was the Verde on a GF cauliflower crust. The flavor was delicious. My husband ordered the Carni pizza. My only complaint was that the GF pizza came warm rather than hot, most likely because it was done before the Carni pizza. This is our second visit to Bar One. We will definitely be back.More info800 DEGREES | BAR ONE Lounge - SOUTH PARKPrice: Expensive• American• SouthPark•4.5
- TTracieCharlotte •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWe recently dined at Napa on Providence to celebrate my daughters’ birthdays, and it was an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely outstanding and incredibly fresh. I highly recommend starting with the Goat Cheese appetizer—it’s a must-try. The Mushroom Ravioli was divine, and the Beef Bourguignon was simply amazing. The staff took exceptional care of us throughout the meal, making the celebration even more special. We can’t wait to visit again! If I could give Napa more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Highly recommend!More infoNapa on ProvidencePrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Myers Park•4.6
- JJohnVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •59 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoSo glad we decided to have Christmas Eve dinner at The Jimmy. Wasn’t sure what to expect on this holiday evening, but the restaurant was full with a lively, happy crowd, and the always-friendly staff were in good spirits. Perfectly cooked salmon with a soft, moist interior and crispy skin outside. Nicely charred pizza with mushrooms and arugula. And a winning Sangiovese to wash it all down. - KKayLos Angeles •5 reviews5.0Dined on 21 Dec 2024We found the Fug Tree on Open table and a travel blog recommendation and it was exactly what we were looking for! We had a fabulous time celebrating my daughter’s 23rd birthday trip from Los Angeles -- and met others celebrating their anniversaries. We shared 2 apps, a salad, 1 main, and ordered 3 drinks (2 different cocktails and a glass of wine) — and unfortunately didn’t have room for dessert which we were looking forward to — but they still brought some homemade chocolates on a plate inscribed Happy Birthday with a candle, which was lovely! The wait staff were very personable and took great care of us including splitting shared dishes without being asked. The cocktails were unique and yummy. The food was a fantastic mix of flavors and cooked to perfection. The house was tastefully decorated for the holidays. Compared to LA prices it was at least 50% less expensive than a similar experience — but we did tip a lot more than we usually would since service was fantastic and min wage in NC is about 1/4 of that in CA.More infoThe Fig Tree Restaurant - Charlotte, NCPrice: Very Expensive• Continental• Elizabeth•4.8
- JJimmySouth Carolina •5 reviews4.0Dined on 18 Dec 2024Staff was great. Truly great. The rooms are a little loud when multiple tables are set. The outside area looked very nice. The appetizers and salads were extremely good. We ordered the shrimp and grits and the burger with fries. The shrimp and grits were OK at best. We only ate half of the burgers. The fries were on point.More infoThe Goodyear HousePrice: Moderate• Southern• NODA•4.6
