Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Del Mar

Very enjoyable dinner and overall dining experience for my mom’s birthday! The staff had great attention to detail and the food was delicious. It started to get louder just after sunset but not too bad. Will go back for another special occasion!

Booked a nice Valentine’s Day dinner with my mother and wife. I got a nice view of the sunset with the waves crashing enjoying my delicious scallop dinner. Idk how much better it could get. Miranda was an excellent server.

We got there on time and they are still getting ready for us but the hostess seat right away, our server started us with our drink and we decided to get the sangria to share. My wife is hungry so we didn't wait for her to get our drinks, we ask her if we can order our food and we started with the tamales and Yuquitas. The Yuquita is really good and the tamales comes with the salad. We ordered a bowl of soup for my wife but was told that they are not serving soup because of Valentines Day dinner so we went for the roasted beets salad for the wife, the roasted beets is really sweet. I went for the Lamb stew with rice and the spouse wants to try the seafood macho with Peruvian Fried rice and everything is really good and then we ended the dinner with a tiramisu for dessert, soo good. We were ask by the server if the music is too loud for us and we told it doesn't bother us. I told my wife that we been there before when it was called Secret but she don't remember. Definitely coming back.

The food was outstanding. I had the carne asada plate that was marinated nicely with flour tortillas, black beans, and rice. My husband had the shrimp skewers with rice that was very tasty too. We were impressed by the quality of the food. It’s a must try!

Pacifica never disappoints. Delicious food, fantastic service, great ambience and view. I’m a vegetarian and even though Pacifica seems to focus on seafood, their vegetarian options have been creative and delicious every time. Extensive wine selection too, with half-price bottles on Thursdays, it’s a great value.
