- MMichaelSan Diego •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoThe food at The Cat has always been decent for a pub but this meal was well above the normal standard and much better than any pub food that I have had in a long time. Great place to visit, excellent service and definitely worth visiting. High quality food that is great value.More infoThe Cat InnPrice: Moderate• Contemporary British• East Grinstead•4.9
- LLouiseWest Sussex •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoThis was my second visit to Tottington Manor as a follow-up to a function I attended late last year, and my first visit to Terra. On arrival we were warmly greeted by the very charming Louis, Tottington'a General Manager, who was charming and is clearly a real asset to Tottington. We were seated quickly and left to peruse the menu and our orders were taken soon thereafter although we were not rushed. My mother and I both chose to skip the starters and go straight for a main course. Mum had lamb while I had the chicken dish and both were exceptional - beautifully presented and cooked and seasoned to perfection. We then opted for the mini bite size desserts which were a taste sensation, if a tad small. All in all this was a really pleasing visit where we enjoyed superb food and excellent yet very discreet service which I very much appreciated. Indeed, I am already planning my next visit with a very discerning friend who I am hoping will be similarly impressed. My sincere thanks to Louis and the wider team, and a very big pat on the back to all.More infoTerra Restaurant at TottingtonPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Henfield•4.7

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. We only had good comments about the food. I can’t wait to come back again! The menu offers a wide variety of options, and everything we tried was delicious. I especially loved the creative twists on classic dishes.More infoThe Hengist - Restaurant & Cocktail BarPrice: Expensive• Dining Bar• Aylesford•3.9
- SStuartEast Sussex •1 review5.0Dined on 5 Jan 2025Lovely Sunday lunch served by very enthusiastic attentive server. We had the Sunday roast for 4 and it was very tasty and plenty for us. A nice touch was the provision of a ‘doggy bag’ so that nothing was wasted. The particular advantage for us was that our wives are put off by a stacked plate, so could put on their plate what they wanted from the main bowl. The only feedback we could give is that in our opinion, the midweek food doesn’t leave many options for a ‘light lunch’ such as sandwiches or toasted sandwiches or soup.More infoGlasshousePrice: Expensive• Bistro• Eastbourne•3.8
